Mercari Fee Calculator

Mercari takes a selling fee and then applies payment processing on the same order, so the effective take rate is higher than the headline number suggests.

This calculator applies both, accounts for the shipping you pay, and reports the payout you actually receive.

What sellers get wrong on Mercari

Mercari fee calculator FAQ

What is the Mercari selling fee?

A 10% selling fee on the transaction, plus payment processing of 2.9% and $0.50. On a $35 sale that is roughly $4.55 in fees before shipping.

Who pays shipping on Mercari?

Either the buyer or you, depending on how the listing is set up. If you offer free shipping, the label cost comes out of your payout and should be entered as shipping cost here.

Is Mercari worth it for low-value items?

The fixed $0.50 plus the 10% fee means very cheap items are rarely worth listing. Use the break-even price to see the floor for your costs.
